Liesl's Preschool Graduation

Today was Liesl's graduation.  It was held at the American Fork Rec Center where she had been going to preschool for the school year.  She was so excited to be wearing a cap and gown and that Lito and Lita could be there to see her.  They showed the parents different things they had learned, one being the pledge of Allegiance which they recited first thing.  Afterwards, we got to take some pictures and they had some refreshments.  I was so proud of Liesl for wanting to learn and preparing herself for Kindergarten.

Happy Birthday Hans!

Today we celebrated Hans birthday with a friends birthday party.  The theme this year was Secret Spy Agent.  He sent invitation to kids in his class that told them to come in dark shirts because they were going through spy training.  When they got at our home they all received mustaches for their disguises and they were given a code sheet they needed to decipher.  They all knew that they needed to get through obstacle courses to find their loot (their gift bags).  Paul and I had a fun time putting this together and the kids had a blast.  We even put a disguise on Ky, he wasn't to happy but it was funny.

Happy Easter

Hans was the only one ready for the picture, Liesl was in deep thought and Gabi probably saw an airplane

Easter sunday was a great day, the Easter bunny came and gave us all some fun treats.  After that we went to church.  The girls wore their matching dresses which they loved.  We got some good pictures but didn't manage to get one of Ky.  By the time we were ready to go he was asleep in his carseat and I wasn't about to wake him up.  I wanted him to sleep right through church.

Liesl's first haircut

Liesl came up to me one day and said "Mom, I want my hair cut".  It took me a while to register what she was asking but when I did I was hesitant, because here hair was so long.  But then I started to like the idea because I could picture myself not having the everyday struggle of brushing her hair.  It was a win win situation.  Liesl was getting what she wanted and I was not going to have to hear her cry everytime I brushed her hair.

I was so proud of Liesl, she was still and calm when the hairdresser started to work on her hair

Liesl's hair afterwards.  I love it and most importantly she loved it.

Kids Safetly Conference

We took the kids up to the South Towne Expo where they were holding a kids safelty conference that was free.  They had a lot of stations there were kids would learn how to be safe.  They had police men there and the kids were allowed to look in and sit in their cars, they had school busses and the kids learned about school safetly.  They had so many things it was fun and we got to take home free things.  It was a good reminder on how to be safe and what to do in case of emergencies.
