Happy Easter

Hans was the only one ready for the picture, Liesl was in deep thought and Gabi probably saw an airplane

Two sisters who have fun together
Easter sunday was a great day, the Easter bunny came and gave us all some fun treats.  After that we went to church.  The girls wore their matching dresses which they loved.  We got some good pictures but didn't manage to get one of Ky.  By the time we were ready to go he was asleep in his carseat and I wasn't about to wake him up.  I wanted him to sleep right through church.

Liesl's first haircut

Liesl came up to me one day and said "Mom, I want my hair cut".  It took me a while to register what she was asking but when I did I was hesitant, because here hair was so long.  But then I started to like the idea because I could picture myself not having the everyday struggle of brushing her hair.  It was a win win situation.  Liesl was getting what she wanted and I was not going to have to hear her cry everytime I brushed her hair.

I was so proud of Liesl, she was still and calm when the hairdresser started to work on her hair

Liesl's hair afterwards.  I love it and most importantly she loved it.

Baby Ky's blessing

Today was a very special day for our family.  We got to bless Ky and give him a name that would be known in the records of the church.  We were so happy to have family and friends there to help us celebrate this day.

Those there:
Lito and Lita
Glen and Jenny Lyons (Becky's Cousins)
Tia Rachel and Uncle Jim (Becky's aunt and uncle)
Danielle (Becky's sister in law)
Alex, Mackenzie, Taft and Jack (Becky's niece and nephews)
Grama and Grandpa
Uncle Glen and Aunt Billie (Paul's aunt and uncle)
Ben and Caitlin Otte (Paul's cousins)
Vince and Melissa Jones (Paul's mission companion)

After the blessing we went to Salem, Ut to my parents house to have a wonderful mexican lunch.  I always love family get togethers because there is a lot of good food.

Kids Safetly Conference

Hans, Liesl and Gabi waiting to go into an ambulance

Hans got to try on the gear of a SWAT officer

Liesl trying on the same gear that Hans did
We took the kids up to the South Towne Expo where they were holding a kids safelty conference that was free.  They had a lot of stations there were kids would learn how to be safe.  They had police men there and the kids were allowed to look in and sit in their cars, they had school busses and the kids learned about school safetly.  They had so many things it was fun and we got to take home free things.  It was a good reminder on how to be safe and what to do in case of emergencies.

1st day of Preschool

Today was Liesl's first day of preschool.  She was so excited to be able to go to school because that is what Hans does and also was excited that she would get to do her own thing.  I was a little nervous to let her go, but I am so grateful that she is able to do this.  She knows how to make friends and she loves to learn.

Outside waiting to go

Happy Birthday Paul!

Today was Paul's birthday.  It was a fun day.  Paul was at work and then when he got home we had his favorite candy waiting and the kids had made cards for them.  We had dinner and then we ate the chocolate cake that the kids and I had made.

New Job ;)

Today was a wonderful day for our family.  Paul started a new job that would have him be home at night and on the weekends.  Paul started his last job 7 1/2 years ago and have been patiently waiting for another job.  He is working for a company called Vivint here in Provo, Ut as the corporate security manager.  It is a blessing for us, because we will feel like we have a normal life.  Paul will now be able to be home at nights and will be able to go to church every Sunday.  We are grateful to Heavenly Father for opening this path for us and know that we would not have gotten it without a lot of prayer and faith.  We are so excited to start this new venture and see what the future holds for us with this new company.
